MHHS is committed to helping immigrants from diverse ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds by providing timely social service, employment and economic support services, and training and education services. We specially assist those who are disadvantaged by barriers in language, employment and social isolation. We work in cooperation with other community organizations in British Columbia to meet the needs of clients.
How do I get to the MHHS-NRC office?
The MHHS-NRC office is accessible via public transport and is located a few meters away from the bus stop. Call or send us an email to get directions to the MHHS-NRC office from your location or view our location map.
How do I know if I am eligible for any of the MHHS-NRC Programs?
The MHHS-NRC team will be more than willing to provide you with assistance for its programs. Come over to the MHHS-NRC office to further discuss your eligibility and avail of the programs and services being offered by the society.
What documents do I need to present when going to the MHHS-NRC office for the first time?
The documentary requirements will vary based on the programs / services being availed. It is however best to have the following information ready when you first visit the MHHS-NRC:
- Permanent Resident Number details
- Photo ID (i.e. passport)
- Work Permits (for TFWs and caregivers)
Should your Permanent Resident card still not be available, a copy of your landing papers issued upon your arrival at the airport will suffice. This will contain your Permanent Resident number.
If you do not have any of these requirements, come on over to the MHHS-NRC office and we will provide you with assistance and information on how you can attain these documents.
